If you'd have asked me 24 hours ago how I felt about oysters, I would have probably made a comment about them being glorified sea boogers, but a preview evening at The Morrison's Oyster Festival forced me out of my ignorant shell and made me see these flawless little pearlers in a new light.
Follow the bold gold lettering, and in the old Brooklyn Hotel you’ll now find The Morrison Bar and Oyster Room. Warm with plants, fairy lights, raw brick, and yellow lamps, the menu is revamped for summer, and hops countries with abandon.
August is shaping up to be very tasty, what with The Morrison bringing back their Oyster Festival including their legendary $1 Oyster Hour every night of the month, between 6pm and 7pm.
