Best Cinema – Palace Cinema, Norton Street

The Palace Leichhardt is more stylish than ever after undergoing extensive renovations and re-opening in November last year. It now boasts eight licensed cinemas with luxurious seating and a very spacious, atrium-style bar and lounge area. It’s always running an excellent program of films, and also plays host to the annual French, Spanish, German, Greek and Italian Film Festivals. The cinema is ideally located in a restaurant strip, so you can get a meal before or after your film, but we recommend grabbing a drink and watching the world go by from the cinema balcony that overlooks busy Norton Street – enjoyable at any time, but near dusk it’s perfect.
