The Shark Hotel provides a too-rare space to sit in ridiculously comfortable chairs while having a chat with your drunk companions on a big (or otherwise) night. Despite their dangerously cheap drinks – $4 spirits – they have managed to avoid the drunk-18-year-old vibe, with a large open space filled with couches, TVs and an in-house Thai restaurant, which all come together to feel more like an RSL than Bar Century.
