Best Bagels – Brooklyn Hide

The old boiled-then-baked role-with-a-hole has a long Polish and Jewish history, but Surry Hills is as far as you’ll need to go for a wide and delicious selection of bagels. Brooklyn Hide’s menu reads like a map of New York, from the Manhattan with its traditional topping of in-house cured lox, rocket, honey vinegar and cream cheese; to the Brooklyn Hide bagel with a braised pork shoulder, McClure’s dill pickles, baby spinach and apple jam filling. But heck, if that’s a bit too much for your taste buds then the plain bagels with different types of cream cheese are also immensely satisfying.
