He is enigmatic, he is thrilling, and he has left people around the world gape-mouthed and wide-eyed in amazement. Now Australian illusionist, Michael Boyd is bringing his internationally acclaimed show, Mystique to Sydney for the first time.

Melbourne-born Boyd has been practising magic since the auspicious age of thirteen. He started touring as a professional performer as soon as he left high school and has since performed on television and in casinos, cruise ships, and large venues all over the globe.

Boyd’s shows have the extravaganza of Las Vegas and the “wow” effect of David Copperfield. He is a master entertainer, incorporating high-tech production values and very polished theatrics to create a slick, awe-inspiring, utterly enthralling show.

Mystique features impossible escapes, inexplicable levitations, transformations, special effects and baffling disappearances. The highlight is a terrifying but fantastic deadly contraption called The Scorpion, transported from Vegas at a cost of $50,000.
