The show must go on – but not for now… The producers of Night At The Barracks have regrettably made the announcement that the concert series will be postponed from February until September/November 2022. The reason has not been disclosed but one can only presume that with the disruption COVID-19 has caused many theatre productions and events including Hamilton, The Wedding Singer and Nine To Five, the rapid spread of the virus may be responsible.

Audiences who planned on attending this new outdoors night-time venue set against an iconic Australian location would have been mesmerised over the course of 20 starry nights by 20 talented artists that included Jessica Mauboy, David Campbell, Caroline O’Connor and James Morrison.

COVID-19 has had adverse effects on all businesses globally but particularly on the arts. With so many shows cancelled or postponed, and the ongoing rapid spread of this virus it’s indisputable that this may unfortunately be the ‘new normal’.
