BEST HIV SUPPORT – Positive Life NSW

There are a lot of assumptions about what it means to be living with HIV and who might be living with HIV. That’s why Positive Life NSW works to promote a positive image of all people living with HIV or who are affected by HIV to eliminate HIV stigma and discrimination through support and advocacy programs aimed at all people living with HIV, their families and friends.

Based in Surry Hills, this not-for-profit organisation supports those living with HIV as well as their friends, families and communities with informative resources and programs. Positive Life has been an active voice and representative body for all people living with HIV since its establishment in 1988. Through its Aboriginal health, housing, vocational, digital, and ageing programs that are run by and for people living with HIV themselves, the organisation offers valuable education, advocacy and social inclusion events. Positive Life aims to continue to support people living with and affected by HIV throughout NSW in the years to come.
