A time looping action flick which takes inspiration from the likes of Groundhog Day, Happy Death Day, Palm Springs & various video games.

Boss Level follows Roy Pulver (Frank Grillo), a retired special forces soldier who must survive through the day as a series of assassins attempt to murder him & prevent him from saving his estranged wife (Namoi Watts) and son.

As the day unfolds over and over again, resetting after every death, Roy discovers more and more clues which all point to Colonel Clive Ventor (Mel Gibson) as the nefarious individual behind the time loop.

Boss Level is a campy, tongue in cheek, gruesomely violent affair which doesn’t require much effort to enjoy. Whilst simplistic it is a fun outing, despite the telegraphed and somewhat unsatisfying ending, that is sure to find an audience.
