A tale as old as time is brought to life through a ballet retelling one of the most loved classic fairytales, Beauty And The Beast.
The Victoria State Ballet’s rendition of Beauty And The Beast endeavours to immerse the audience in a timeless tale that is both entertaining and visually inspiring with its superb classical ballet techniques and vibrant choreography.
The show features leading internationally recognised artists Elise Jacques as Belle and Tynan Woods as Beast, and a top cast of leading classical ballet artists from across Australia and abroad. Ahead of the performance in Chatswood, City Hub spoke with Jacques.
“I’ve always loved Beauty And The Beast and I’ve always the character [Belle],” Jacque says. “She’s not like other princesses, she was a naive town girl who doesn’t care what other people think and throughout the story she learns to speak through the beast.”
Don’t miss out on seeing this classic fairytale, pas de deuxs from the leading couple and a very moving transformation! It’s a must see performance for the whole family to enjoy!
