Gabrielle Aplin – Dear Happy

Gabrielle Aplin is ringing in the new year with the release of her latest album Dear Happy. 

Aplin shows off her versatility throughout the album from upbeat tunes like So Far So Good to sombre songs like Just One of Those Days. At times, Aplin sounds eerily similar to Selena Gomez, with the same velvety voice and smooth background instrumentals. 

Every song on Dear Happy is a hit, and the album even features a stellar Aplin duet with JP Cooper called Losing Me.

Notably, Kintsugi stands out as one of the album’s best singles, not only for its brilliant musical sound but also for its nod to the Japanese art kintsugi that treats breaks as part of an object’s history.
