Welcome 2020 With A Bang

Welcome 2020 With A Bang

Just last week the City Of Sydney council officially unveiled their plans for this year’s NYE celebrations. As always there is a heavy emphasis on fireworks, and luckily City Hub has got the best viewing locations scouted for you.

Harbour Hoopla

Why not celebrate the New Year inside the lush, green surrounds of Sydney’s Royal Botanic Gardens.

Harbour Hoopla is a spectacular event which is open to all ages. Spend the evening exploring the circus-themes sideshows, getting crazy at the selfie station, or hitting the dance floor to the funky music of the original NYE party person, DJ Mr Chad.

Alternatively, if you want a more relaxed vibe you can simply sit back and relax, enjoy a gourmet hamper with savoury treats and snacks as you take it all in before heading down to the expansive viewing area for 3,100 people with plenty of seating on the grass to watch the fireworks.

Each ticket includes a picnic hamper and a bottle of water plus, there are cash bars and food stalls available on site. Proceeds from each ticket to Harbour Hoopla go to support the horticulture and scientific work of the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney.

Get caught up in the captivating and indulgent sound of the Inner-West’s Soma Sutton and her five-piece band this NYE. Afterwards, you can take a short 15 minute walk from the venue to an exclusive viewing area to watch the midnight fireworks.

Every ticket includes a cocktail and canapés on arrival, followed by endless roving drinks service, savoury and sweet food stations and a glass of midnight sparkling. Oh and much like Harbour Hoopla proceeds will support the scientific, horticultural and conservation projects of the Royal Botanic Gardens.
