Jumanji: The Next Level

Following on from the surprise comedy hit of 2017 comes the latest instalment of the revitalised Jumanji series. The intrepid group of teens who were sucked into the Jumanji video game the first time around are this time joined by two crotchety old men.

In this fun-filled body-swapping romp the group of adventurers is again tasked with saving the world of Jumanji in order to escape the video game realm. In order to inject a new spice of life into the film’s formula, the individual group members are all sidled with new avatars, and thus traits, in Jumanji: The Next Level.

Whilst much of the film follows similar beats as Jumanji: Welcome to The Jungle this instalment manages to change this up just enough to keep the story flowing and feeling fresh.

An incredibly fun ride. With touching moments of personal growth for each character. If you enjoyed your first visit to Jumanji you’ll love the return trip.
