Positive Life is about attitude reform; they want to eliminate the stigma still associated with HIV through a program of education, awareness, and advocacy. Established in 1988, the organisation has provided support for hundreds of people living with HIV, as well as partners, families and communities. Their website is an invaluable hub, with in-depth information about HIV, links to helpful resources, connections to networks, events listings, and more. Through consistent media campaigns, they strive to keep HIV in the public eye and ensure people living with HIV continue to get the support they need and are not excluded from work, personal, and social activities because of their status. It’s a very inclusive organisation and, as a non-profit, relies on donations to continue its good work.
