With the escalating cost of going to the movies it’s always a bonus when admission prices have been discounted – and an added bonus when admission is for free!

The inaugural Chinese Film Week, which is presented by the Sydney China Film Centre, brings seven recent critically-acclaimed Chinese box office hits to the screen for all movie-goers to enjoy.

This program has been meticulously curated so that there’s something for all tastes – from non-stop action films and suspenseful dramas to hilarious comedies.

The aim of this event is to allow attendees to broaden their knowledge of Chinese culture through Australia’s favourite pastime – going to the movies. It should also heighten the appeal of Chinese Cinema, so get your free tickets to the retrospective screenings of these great Chinese films before they’re all gone!! (MMo)

Lost, Found (2018) – This incredible story follows the heart-wrenching journey of a mother in search of her missing daughter. Directed by Oscar-nominated Yue Lu.

Hello Mr. Billionaire (2018) – A comedy about a man who is on a mission – if he can spend one billion dollars in 30 days without owning anything, he wins 30 billion dollars.

Detective Chinatown 2 (2018) – When the son of New York’s notorious godfather is murdered, Tang and Qin reunite to bring the culprit to justice. Comedy mystery buddy film.
