Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse

In the realm of comic books the idea of multiple parallel dimensions/universes has become such a norm it even spawned its own word, multiverse. The latest animated feature film offering from Sony employee this multiverse concept to create an incredibly emotion filled comic book film.

By using the concept of multiverses this new Spider-Man film is able to bring multiple iterations of the iconic character into the one world. Whist the film centres around the Miles Morales, an African-American teen, version of Spider-Man the audience is quickly introduced to the original Peter Parker version, a female version known as Spider-Gwen and a range of other unique versions.

The diverse cast of characters is combined with an incredible artistic style which really makes this film pop off the screen and feel like the most true comic adaptation to date.

Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse is funny, compelling, poignant, and certainly worth your time.
