Summer Hill Feast

Summer Hill Feast

The inner west is the home of Sydney’s multicultural society and there is no better way to celebrate that than with a giant outdoor feast in a great village atmosphere.

On Sunday Summer Hill’s Lackey Street is being taken over with food pop-ups and live performances from local musicians and dancers, all kicking off at 10am.

Feast goers will be able to enjoy cuisines from the Middle East, Italy, Vietnam, Thailand, Greece, Nepal and modern Mediterranean cuisines, as well as participate in a pizza eating competition.

Local establishments Andiamo Trattoria, Summer Hill Hotel, The Rio and The Temperance Society will host pop-up bars offering selections of wine, craft beers and inventive cocktails.

Kids will be well looked after with an Australian Wildlife Display show, jumping castle, Garden Games and receive temporary tattoos.

Throughout the day the famous Bower Reuse And Repair cafe will be on hand to give new life to old and broken electrical appliances.

Local musicians and dancers include the Mary Heart Band, Sydney Dance Rhythms, Close to the Sun and Zoe Van Allen.
