Elaine Paton is a conceptual theatre director, writer and performer who works at the intersection of art and mental health, constantly challenging the stigma and shame that still surrounds being mentally unwell.

Based on her autobiographical experiences, as part of Mental Health Month Elaine will be hosting the premiere film screening of her UK live performance show Mement(o)s at the Wayside Chapel followed by a Q&A.

Moment(o)s, in the tradition of cabaret, exposes the hidden, challenges the status quo, and revels in celebrating the socially unacceptable in a subversive romp through the vicissitudes of mental breakdown.
