Breathe is a romantic biographical drama and host to the directional debut of Andy Serkis. A labour of love for friend and producer Jonathan Cavendish, whose parents story serves for the basis of the film. Written by William Nicholson, the film stars Andrew Garfield, Clair Foy, Tom Hollander, Hugh Bonneville and many more.

Kicking off with the true love story of Robin and Diana Cavendish’s whirlwind romance, Robin is soon diagnosed with polio at the young age of 28. Confined to a hospital bed needing a machine to breathe for the rest of his life, he soon loses hope and the will to live. With help from inventor Teddy Hall, Robin is able to live his life to the fullest with his family while inspiring others in the same position to do the same.

An inspiring love story with exceptional performances throughout. Props to Garfield, who using only his eyes to capture an amazing range of emotions. A touching and beautiful heart-warmer.
