Bear Hunt

Featuring an all Australian cast, the live theatre show of the much loved picture book We’re Going On a Bear Hunt – by Michael Rosen and illustrated by Helen Oxenbury, promises songs, laughter, music and rhymes. Packed with puppetry, a bit of mud and of course a bear, it will be an outing for little kids and big kids alike.

For just two performances on August 8, the UK production of We’re Going On A Bear Hunt, comes to the Enmore Theatre straight from its international tour with sold out performances in Melbourne, Brisbane and the Sydney Opera House.

Originally directed by Sally Cookson with a whimsical musical score by Benji Bower, We’re Going On a Bear Hunt is an interactive theatre show with mischievous songs that will transport audiences to a river, forest and cave without having to step too far out the door.

“This production takes everyone on the journey – not under, not over, oh no – through it! – In a funny, exuberant and loving way. This is a must-go show.” Rosen said.

Tag along with a fearless family of adventurers and their musical dog through the swishy swashy splishy splashy squealchy wilderness. If it’s a bear you’re after, you might even catch a big one!

August 8, 10am & 11:45am. Enmore theatre, 118-132 Enmore Rd, Newtown. $32.85-$37.95+b.f. Tickets & Info: or PH: 02 9550 3666
