Thomas Wynn & The Believers – Wade Waist Deep

Wade Waist Deep is an enthusiastic album. Ernest voices reach for the brim of the album and keep pushing, falling over the edge without taking a breath.

The drumbeats are dramatic, keeping beat with gusto, the guitar is sympathetic in the background, almost lost underneath the strength of the vocals which take up so much room in mix. Rushing forth like an overfilled glass of champagne, these songs will keep pushing, crashing against each other in the limited space of the listeners brain, determined to be centre of it from start to finish.

There is almost an overabundance of heart in this album beating harder than the crash of each drumbeat. This album is intense, listeners should be prepared to match the vocals with as much intensity or they risk losing themselves in the melee.
