Handful, Part Two is a versatile EP composed by Melbourne musician Rosie Burgess.
Her songs Run Through Fire, Raise You Up and On You Ride take on an acoustic approach and explore a variety of tempos. Each song explores her constant recognition of the displeasure and concern which appears to fill the contemporary world. The songs develop with the addition of new instruments which act to engage the listener as the songs progress. They each have a beautiful melody which is relaxing and comforting to listen to and when looked at in union, they complement each other.
Rosie’s vocals stand out, tying the songs together and creating a noticeable style across the EP. This acoustic style follows up her previous EP Handful, Part One really well.
