Bloody Mary’s

Garnished with a slider, hot wing, and prawn, The Bloody Hell ($25) is without a doubt the most ridiculous cocktail I’ve ever seen. A chilli-infused Bloody Mary, it is but one of ten variations of the classic at the appropriately named Bloody Mary’s, made with in-house blended tomato juice, and with a spice wall for heat customisation. Perhaps a hangover cure in and of itself, you could do a lot worse than pairing it, and a few friends, with a Mixed Platter ($48), designed for three people, it offers the full catalogue of all the Sunday morning, life-saving, deep fried things you could want: buffalo wings, chilli prawns, onion rings, jalapeno poppers. Something less outrageous but equally delicious comes in the form of a Scotch Fillet ($25), perfectly cooked with an array of earthy mushrooms, and a Caesar Salad ($20) that hits the delicate balance between rich and fresh. But as much as this place is hangover appropriate, you could go a long way toward starting one here. An Espresso Martini ($19) with crumbled M&Ms on top is perfection (seriously, a game-changer), while the KANDI-KAYNE ($18) a dangerously all-caps sugar hit of vodka, lychee, raspberry and lemonade. I’m almost looking forward to my next hangover…
