Bombino: Omara “Bombino” Moctar takes inspiration for his music from his birthplace in the nomadic camp of Agadez, the meeting point of West Africa, North Africa and the Mediterranean. Layering these themes over guitar riffs which blend the style of fellow African musicians with rock and blues legends such as Jimi Hendrix, John Lee Hooker and Jimmy Page.
