Harts: Right off the back of a highly acclaimed and sold out Australian tour Melbourne rock funk guitar virtuoso Harts is set to release his latest single this week in Sydney. Described by Rolling Stone Magazine as “supernaturally talented” Harts blends the blistering shredding of Hendrix with the electro-funk pop style of Prince. This talent saw him nominated for Best New Talent and Single of the Year in last years Rolling Stone Awards.

Incubus: The iconic rockers known for their litany of sing-a-long hits such as Drive, Nice To Know You, Wish You Were Here and Megalomaniac begin their sideshow tour in conjunction with Soundwave Festival this weekend. Joining them on Friday will be Antemasque a new musical duo of former At The Drive In and Mars Volta members Omar Rodriguez-Lopez and Cedric Bixler. Rounding out the evening are Mexican garage-punk trio Le Butcherettes.

Lime Cordiale: Fresh off a nine show tour supporting The Delta Rigs, Sydney’s own Lime Cordiale return home to close out their own headline tour. The five piece are celebrating their forthcoming single Hanging Upside Down which has been praised as a great follow up to their sophomore EP.

Clowns: This Melbourne punk group has carved out quiet the niche for themselves over the past few years. Along the way they put together a new full length EP and are now set to tour these tracks around the country. Embodying the carefree attitude that has made Australian guitar music such a success internationally and having learnt from the likes of Frenzel Rhomb whilst on support duties this show is bound to be an energy filled affair.

Mogwai: Six years after their last headline tour Mogwai finally embark on the long journey down under again. The six piece Glaswegian outfit are not known for doing things in half measures and will be taking over the Opera House Concert Hall on Monday to take the audience on an epic sonic journey.

Graveyard: Nordic metal band, previously described as Sweden’s 21st Century answer to Black Sabbath, are set to bring their distinct sound to Sydney for one night only. Back home Graveyard has amassed an impressive number of accolades ranging from Swedish Grammy for Best Hard Rock Album, three different billboard chart mentions, multiple best of 2011 listings and even their own beer brand.
