Future Music Festival 2015 Line-Up Announced

This week saw the first round of announcements for next year’s Future Music Festival. This year the organisers of the festival were determined to sharpen the line-up and ensure each individual stage had its very own atmosphere.

The biggest news coming off the announcement was the addition of Canadian Rap/R&B icon Drake for his first ever tour down under. Drake has experienced an incredible 12-18 month ride recently selling over five million albums, capturing records for most number ones on Billboards Hip-hop/R&B charts and endless critical praise. With a new album on the horizon this tour will be huge. Drake will be joined by fellow hip-hop artists 2 Chainz and Example.

Leading up the charge on the EDM front are proven veterans The Prodigy also with a new album set for 2015. This will be the first opportunity for fans to hear the new tracks. The EDM line-up will be complemented with the additions of Avicii, another act with ample festival headline experience all over the globe, and finally Martin Garrix an 18-year-old producer that has rocketed up to the number four slot in the top 100 DJ rankings.

Organisers have also catered for a variety of other musical tastes with the likes of Die Antwoord, Gorgon City, Sigma, Sven Våth and Tchami also slated to be featured prominently on their own stages.

Tickets for the festival are now on sale.
