Hat Fitz and Cara Robinson make a musically overflowing partnership on their album, Do Tell.
From the first note, the folksy feel takes the listener back in time. The harmonica on Stray Hat evokes images of sitting in the back carriages of a rickety train, the open door letting the warm air roll in, highlighting the camaraderie of music.
The listener can feel the heat in the title track and the lonely sadness in Long Dark Cloud.
This short ride is a rollercoaster of tempo changes and emotion. (SP)
