Breabach – Ùrlar

Breabach – Ùrlar

Bagpipe notes have a habit of sounding like they are being tortured into being but on this album they are like a mysterious call through an imaginary mist. Building with the speed of the fiddles and the melodic voices that tell a story through the language barrier, Breabach’s Ùrlar is imbued with a hope that bounces on the rhythm.

This whimsical album breathes with culture and its journey, subtly rolling on as each instrument chases and plays off each other all the way from The Poetic Milkman to The Old Hill. (SP)
