Land of No Roads is a collection of 11 individual stories, possessing only the mellow and slightly coarse vocals of Gerner as a common thread. From stories of an old-age couple running cocaine for the Mexican cartel, to a song written about the contrast between rich and poor, this album is a collection of subjects that are as entertaining as they are eclectic.

Each is enhanced by its own postcard found in the sleeve of the beautiful packaging.

Though it provides no challenge and nothing that ventures from the beaten path, it has the basic formula of sing-along lyrics and a feel-good vibe. (CD)
