Rob Geddes is a Master of Wine (and there are by the way only eighteen in Australia – so that’s pretty impressive). He’s also the man behind the Nomad wine list. “Nomad’s wine list comprises wines that have been ‘grown rather than made’ to show aromatic complexity and flavour detail reflecting their origins and retaining food friendliness,” he shared. Coriole 2012 Barbera ($11/glass, $52/bottle) or Willunga 100 ‘The Tithing’ 2010 Grenache ($15 glass $75 bottle) both from McLaren Vale in South Australia are two shining examples. And in this latest Sydney innovation you don’t just need to sit at the bar (now open) where there are also boutique beers and cocktails; you can dine in for the deliciousness of small and large share plates, and if you love what you’re drinking, Nomad’s takeaway wine store is also coming soon…
