Twin Lakes: Their single Glacier is currently gaining recognition for the psychedelic video, created by Aussie actor Richard Wilson, but that’s not all the Sydney five-piece have to offer. Their emotionally absorbent sound has earned favourable reviews on Triple J Unearthed as well as regular airtime and a 3000-strong Facebook following.  This night will not only feature their already prominent single, but a mixture of material both known and unknown.

The Butterfly Effect: This night will mark the beginning of a new era for this Brisbane alternative juggernaut. Since the departure of original singer Clint Boge following their farewell tour in June 2012, tonight will be the debut of their brand new frontman Paul Galagher. His talents have already been exposed in the release of new single Eyes Down, but for all those who wish to vindicate Galagher’s live presence as well as his performance of those TBE masterpieces, this gig cannot afford to be missed.

Sat, Oct 19th, The Annandale Hotel

Mickey Avalon: Californian rapper with a penchant for street art, Yeshe Perl aka Mickey Avalon has been through a lot of destruction and addiction to get to the position he is in today. From an upbringing taken straight out of the pages of the hard-knocks textbooks, Avalon channeled his suffering and experiences to create the raw and powerful music he presents. From his career as a solo artist to a stint in rap group Dyslexic Speedreaders, there is a possibility of hearing verses from throughout the 27 year-old’s nine-year career.

Porter Robinson: He’s had a plethora of big stage appearances at festivals such as Ultra Music Festival, Coachella and Tomorrowland, as well as rubbed shoulders with the likes of Tiesto and Deadmau5, but this is your one chance to see this talented DJ from North Carolina in such an intimate venue. His hit single Language was a favourable pinch of EDM that gained appreciation from all over the globe. With a guest appearance from San Francisco trio The M Machine, this night will have audiences moving, shaking and fist-pumping endlessly. (CD)
