DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH
Diamond in the Rough is the newest production to hit the stage every Friday night at the iconic Imperial Hotel, home of the original Priscilla show which was the inspiration behind the hit film.
Featuring drag’s hottest new star Decoda Secret as a modern day Marilyn Monroe and supported by four of Australia’s most talented dancers, including Wil Sabin who also co-produces the show.
“We wanted to bring some of the old drag glamour back to the stage, and what better venue to do it in than the home of drag? The Imperial Hotel!” says Sabin.
Decoda has been pushing the boundaries of performance art with her androgynous look, sometimes appearing as a boy in heels, sometimes wearing very little at all.
Checking out a drag show at the Imperial is simply a must for anyone lucky enough to live in Sydney. (VP)
