Kick-Ass developed a cult following in 2010 and now superheroes Kick-Ass (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) and Hit-Girl (Chloe Grace Moretz) are back, with enough action, attitude, gory violence, nudity, sexual references and strong language to delight and even shock diehard fans.

New is the surprise inclusion of Jim Carrey, playing superhero Colonel Stars and Stripes.

The story continues when Kick-Ass joins a costumed vigilante group to stamp out crime, and a new supervillain (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) creates his own group to avenge his father’s death.

Hit-Girl  attempts an ordinary life at high school with sequences seemingly from Mean Girls, until she follows her heart and rediscovers crime fighting.

Kick-Ass is humorously crass and offers more of the nastiness and ultra violence that fans expect. (MM)
