I’M SO EXCITED

I’M SO EXCITED

From Spain comes I’m So Excited, a camp and flamboyant spoof of airplane disaster films. While en route from Spain to Mexico, a jetliner has technical problems and the flight attendants keep passengers relaxed with live entertainment, alcohol and drugs.

After a promising start with comical appearances by Antonio Banderas and Penelope Cruz the film nosedives. High in altitude but low on comedy the three stereotyped gay flight attendants deliver the few laughs – where humour is possibly lost in translation.

The bizarre characters on this cheesy airliner are promiscuous and as the altitude increases so does their libido, leading to outrageously corny sex scenes.

Detracting from the tedium is an amusing musical number where the flight attendants perform a rendition of The Pointer Sisters’ song I’m So Excited. (MM)
