Recently I popped back into One Moncur Wine Bar who were celebrating their first anniversary and the arrival of a new owner, pretty much at the same time. Adam Harris brings with him a wealth of experience from ArgyleXchange big hitters Sake, The Cut and Ananas Bar & Grill. While it will still be a Champagne specialist (with over thirty by the bottle and six by the glass), expect them to develop their boutique wine list too. Adam also recruited James Privett (ex-Bistro Moncur) to design the menus. The spring menu launched this week, giving you the opportunity to match your bubbles with freshly shucked Sydney rock oysters; salmon and horseradish ceviche; or an indulgent plate of milk-poached cod with asparagus, duck egg and jamon.
