When it comes to wine, Stuart Knox is my man. The award-winning sommelier is a natural sort of guy. Translation: (if you missed it) is that he loves his natural wines, and he’s taught me a thing or two about them (and wine in general). If you want to further your wine knowledge, this bar, above all others, is my recommendation in the city. It will be an international education. Cool wines – he tells me – that are currently on are: Mullineux Kloof Street Chenin Blanc, Swartland, South Africa 2012 ($13/glass); Flaxman Wines Drone Blend G.S.M. Barossa Valley, S.A. 2011 ($11/glass); And Co. LTD The Supernatural Sauvignon Blanc, Hawkes Bay, New Zealand. 2010 ($14/glass). Great grub too.
