WE’RE THE MILLERS

WE’RE THE MILLERS

Director Rawson Marshall Thurber delivers a middle-of-the-road comedy with not much to say beyond your average family farce movie.

Low-level drug dealer David Clark (Jason Sudeikis) is forced to cobble together a fake family for a trip to Mexico to pick up a huge shipment of weed.

There are some good laughs to be had (mostly involving Nick Offerman and Kathryn Hahn as another couple the Millers meet) but overall the movie feels safe and formulaic.

Will Poulter is entertaining as the Miller son but the jury is still out on Sudekis as leading man and Jennifer Aniston isn’t even trying.

OK premise, alright performances but there’s nothing new here. Mediocre at best. (AW)
