MARK CASHIN – BED OF LIGHT

Mark Cashin has brought us another powerful rock album.

If you’re not bothered by strongly emotional lyrics, bordering on inappropriate language, the rhythmic mixtures on Bed of Light are worth listening to.

Cashin’s voice remains constant and the album has quality, swinging through some surprising tones of melancholy rock, country longing and Caribbean optimism.

As we move through the tracks from Black and Blue to Touch You Again, the band displays their diversity, always combining ingenuity with polish. Continuing on through Bed of light, this Australian band hits some very universal notes with clarity and passionate expression. (SP)
