With breakfast being touted as the most important meal of the day, I thought I’d direct your attention to two new ones. Firstly Opera Bar who already offer up one of Sydney’s most impressive waterside locations, are now letting you enjoy it over brekky (9am-11.30am). With dishes like chorizo, egg and manchego quesadillas, and some Champagne or Moscato, you create a morning event worth leaving the house for. However if the glare of the sun is a bit much after a big night on the turps, Bondi Hardware have launched a late weekend brunch (10am-2pm), which starts with one of their infamous Bloody Hardware cocktails. Made with chilli infused vodka and house-made black juice of beetroot, tomatoes, red chilli, lemon, orange, horseradish and chipotle Tabasco, it’ll definitely cure your woes, especially if you take it with a plate of ricotta pancakes with crispy bacon and maple syrup.
