WHAT’S IN A NAME

From France comes What’s In A Name, a delightfully wicked comedy in which arrogance is smartly interwoven with humour, delivering a film which is contagiously funny.

When soon-to-be dad Vincent (Patrick Bruel) attends a dinner at his sister Élizabeth’s (Valérie Benguigui), the question of what to name his son arises. The scandalous name he reveals unleashes fury with such magnitude that family bonds are threatened with hysterical results.

This film is about family, love and friendship. The baby naming storyline is the heart of the film, being the catalyst that forces the five characters to face truths about themselves and invokes anger, shock and laughter.

This dinner date evolves into a dinner disaster with unexpected twists that make What’s In A Name a very amusing farce. (MM)
