Sparkles, spangles, sequins and a dazzling array of accoutrements light up the new Star Event Centre this August as the inimitable Trevor Ashley takes the stage.

Star Struck, Ashley’s fabulous new piece features the outrageous drag performer channeling the great divas of the ages. Cher struts her stuff and sings the magnificent anthems which made her a household name, Bette Midler will move you with her ballads, and Shirley Bassey will stride the arena with all the class and style that made her a legend of song. Tina Turner makes an appearance too, revelling in the opportunity to entertain audiences with her hits.

Ashley is supported by the highly-regarded, Elliot Wilshier, with a live band backed by the Trevettes, a dance duo known for their fetching costumes.

Ashley’s parody of the great chanteuses was a huge hit on the West End and is sure to be an even bigger attraction in Sydney. His vocal range and charisma will ensure that the show has a wide appeal to cabaret aficionados and those that are new to the genre. (LR)
