SALVIA PLATH – THE BARDO STORY

The Bardo Story springs casually into light rock, reminiscent of the experimentally airy 60’s sound.

Formerly known as Run DMT, Salvia Plath rolls pleasantly through House of Leaves and Bardo States with guitar and melodic vocals which make it very easy listening.

There is no hurry in this music. Instead we gradually explore the combinations of slow bass and voice manipulation, building with the timing and choice of a Chick Corea, whilst tapping the tambourine like the most easy-going Beatle.

Mixed subtly with the instruments, the lyrics don’t draw attention to themselves, they feel like a drug-induced euphoria but listeners will hear the beautifully co-ordinated strains for themselves. (SP)
