Modern day punk rock at its finest can be found within Goldblade’s latest offering.

The Terror of Modern Life is an astounding collection of raucous chaos, composed of raw vocals, malignant guitars and pulsating drum lines. From the opening moments it’s clear that This Is War has you hook, line and sinker.

Stand out tracks include the unanticipated inclusion of reggae-punk-infused song Serious Business, though it seems completely out of context in writing, in the midst of the carnage it seems right at home.

The title track of the album is also a banger, with an insatiable build-up followed by a climax that is twisted and callous.

This album is the epitome of all things boisterous. Perfect ruckus material.(CD)
