CASTLECOMER – LONE SURVIVOR

Castlecomer developed a strong following with covers of well-known songs so there is a strong expectation that the next song coming up will be a cover of Hakuna Matata.

While drawing on the folk genre, this style could be described as Celtic Pop or even Forrest Music – it is sure to polarise. The dynamic atmosphere that is created by five-part harmonies also draws on U2-esque riffs and all round the album smacks of 80’s cheesiness.

This album is energetic, exciting and catchy. A well produced recording is sure to get fans dancing their way to the band’s gigs. (LC)
