STAGECOACH – SAY HI TO THE BAND

With a title that is cheeky and a ten year creation period, you’d be forgiven for thinking that this album is going to be an overwhelming masterpiece.

Unfortunately, this south-England five-piece’s debut attempt is nothing more than a mere brush stroke on the vast canvas of rock and roll.

Though the flow between it’s insatiable groovers and the more measured yet exuberant vibers is pretty seamless, the lacklustre undertones of the majority of this album means that everything seems slightly mopey, providing a listen that is highly frustrating and not engaging.

While all is not lost with this album, regrettably it’s not a standout. (CD)
