Abbe May: Kiss My Apocalypse is the latest offering from sultry songstress, Abbe May. Her sound is described as “doom pop”, an aesthetic that was created over 18 months of experimentation with her producer Sam Ford in a studio in Perth. Following up her AMP-nominated record, Design Desire, Kiss My Apocalypse has the guitars take a backseat while her husky vocals and nocturnal synths take over. It is sensual, aggressive and dark.

What So Not: The side project of Australia’s premiere producer and DJ, Flume, What So Not combines the powers of Emoh and Harley to produce some sweaty, grimy beats. Their remix of one of the biggest tunes of 2012, Get Free, has got the attention of Nero, Mad Decent/Downtown and Diplo (the brains behind Major Lazer). If Flume’s success is anything to go by, these boys are here to stay. The Sydney lads will be supported by electro producer, Lance Gurisik aka Lancelot on the night.
