LEONARD GRIGORYAN – SOLO

Leonard Grigoryan is one of Australia’s most talented collaborators. He has made a name for himself working with his brother as guitar duo Grigoryan Brothers and together they have been nominated for six ARIA Awards.

Solo is Grigoryan’s first personally satisfying attempt at being centre stage, though surprisingly out of thirteen tracks, only four are entirely his own compositions.

Deftly mastering the classical string work of the vastly South American melodies, Grigoryan demonstrates why he is a highly sought-after talent of the industry.

Solo is simple and understated, not showy or bragging, but perhaps a little more ego is needed to excite. (LL)
