HOT SHOE SHUFFLE

“Audiences of all ages will love Hot Shoe Shuffle. Children as young as 4 or 5, [even] 2 year olds bopping around, tiny tots, all the way up to the elderly. Everyone will love it,” says recent Actors Centre Australia graduate Morgan Junior-Larwood, who plays Slap in this timeless classic.

The quality and showmanship of the 1992 original show won prestigious awards under David Atkins, who conceived, directed and produced it. Hot Shoe Shuffle returns to Sydney, 21 years later, with enough raw energy to wow new audiences, paying homage to the original show.

The tapping, the singing, the acting and the big band are four good reasons to go see it. Tails, top hats, swinging canes, the glitz and glam from the big band era and an awesome show stopper at the end – it’s a feel good show that ends on a high note.

Even if you don’t like tap or don’t like musicals, you should get along. People will walk away with a smile on their face. (MS)
