BALL PARK MUSIC – THE THANK EWES TOUR

Ball Park Music’s reputation as an impressive live act has been cemented in the last few years: they’ve become festival regulars, have supported bands like Boy & Bear and Hungry Kids of Hungary, and have perpetuated their iridescent indie pop with their own headline tours.

This year, the sprightly quintet has only one headline tour before they knuckle down to record their third album. The Thank Ewes Tour is in gratitude to the BPM fans who have supported them year after year, show after show.

“We thought it might help everyone maybe remember some good times they’ve had watching our band and think, ‘I will go and see them one more time before they disappear for a little while’,” says BPM frontman, Sam Cromack.

The new album will be released in the first half of 2014, but Cromack says they’ve already started recording.

“Well I think we’ll play at least one new song, I mean if it were up to me, I’d love to play all new songs because it’s fun and exciting… but you have to incorporate a bit of strategy,” he laughs. (KD)
