Sacha Keller (Gad Elmaleh) is happily single, he enjoys partying and dating women. He dislikes children and has no intention of ever having a serious relationship – until he meets Charlotte Posche (Sophie Marceau), twice married with three children. A bond develops, but can love triumph when his well-intentioned friend and her jealous soon-to-be ex-husband meddle in their love life?

Happiness Never Comes Alone is a delicious new romantic comedy from France. Elmaleh and Marceau are likeable and wonderfully cast. Engaging and hilarious at times, the laughter derives from well-paced slapstick comedy prevalent throughout.

This delightful and uplifting movie has a great soundtrack which exclusively contains English music. Spoken in French with English subtitles, this doesn’t detract from the viewer’s enjoyment. (MM)
