GNOME – SEE IN WALK
For all those albums that are just undoubtedly otherworldly and pure synthesised bliss, here joins the latest offering by Sydney trio Gnome.
See In Walk is a soft, yet euphoric, four-track collection by siblings Freya and Elias Berkhout and Danny Keig. The soaring vocals send it shooting through the stratosphere, yet its composition – a combination of electro noise and a steady beat – gives it a vibe that oozes nature and tranquility.
Standout track hands down has to be Jump (4-7). The second track in the collection shows the calculative nature of the trio, who lure you in with an upbeat, smooth opening and then blow your mind with a glitch-like, sinister second half of the song.
Home grown, original and extremely well crafted. Turn it up will you? (CD)
